Otto & Ash is an Australian pet store built around one idea: the things your dog uses every day should be chosen as carefully as the things you use every day.

Why we started

Most pet gear is bought twice. A bed that flattens in three months, a lead whose clip seizes up after one wet winter, a toy that lasts an afternoon. It is cheaper up front and more expensive over a year, and it is worse for your dog and worse for the bin.

So we look for the opposite. Covers that come off and go in the machine. Bases that hold their shape. Hardware that still works in twelve months. Sizes listed exactly as measured, so you order once.

How we choose things

Everything we list has to answer three questions. Will it survive daily use. Can it be cleaned without a special trip. Does it look like something you would leave in the living room.

If a product fails any of those, it does not go on the site.

Where we are

We are based in Victoria and ship Australia wide, with international delivery available. We are a young business, and we would rather tell you that than pretend to a history we do not have.
